• Rules and permits. Pages about facade rules, building-manager approvals, the historic centre and noise norms summarise official requirements in plain language. They are informational, not legal advice. Requirements change and can be applied differently case by case — always verify with the official sources cited on the page (likumi.lv, Rīgas valstspilsētas pašvaldība, your building manager) before installing anything.
• Prices. Price ranges describe the market as we observe it on the stated date. Your quote can legitimately differ — building specifics, access, and scope drive real costs. A price outside our range is a reason to ask questions, not proof of fraud.
• Calculators. Results are estimates from a published model (see methodology), not an engineering calculation. Sizing must be confirmed by a qualified installer on site.
• Safety. Refrigerant work requires an F-gas certified technician, and electrical work a qualified electrician — this is both a legal requirement and a safety one. Nothing on this site should be read as encouragement to do regulated work yourself.
• Liability. To the extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for losses arising from acting on the information on this site without the verification described above.
