Three questions that filter installers
- "Will you do a vacuum test, and can I see it?" — the answer is yes, instantly.
- "How many metres of line are included, and what does an extra metre cost?" — a number, not a shrug.
- "Who exactly does the refrigerant work, and what’s their certificate number?" — then check the VVD register.
Certificate check: the VVD register, explained.
Walk-away red flags
- No vacuum test mentioned anywhere
- No exact equipment model named
- Condensate not addressed
- "Permits aren’t needed, nobody checks"
- "Warranty: yes" without years and scope
- One total, no itemised scope
